Unity Before Increase
Foundation: Boldness Before God
“Come boldly…” — Hebrews
Boldness looks like:
-
Willing to adapt
-
Confident, not fearful
-
Courageous
-
Different in appearance
Core Idea: God invites us to come boldly to Him with our finances — open, honest, and surrendered.
1. We Are Stewards, Not Owners
Key Truth:
We don’t own anything — we manage what belongs to God.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Consider:
-
God evaluates faithfulness, not accumulation
-
Stewardship is about responsibility, not possession
2. Multiplication Requires Teamwork
Scripture: Matthew 25:14–15, 25
Key Ideas:
-
God gives according to ability
-
Faith multiplies what God entrusts
-
Fear causes us to hide and stagnate
-
Isolation limits growth
Big Thought:
Anytime fear isolates us, it limits what God wants to multiply.
3. The Tithe Creates Unity With God
Scripture: Malachi 3:8–10
The tithe is about alignment, not money.
It reflects:
-
God first
-
Trust in God
-
Submission to God’s order
Key Statement:
Financial unity with God is the most important step you can take financially.
4. Financial Unity Strengthens Relationships
Scripture: Matthew 12:25
When finances are divided:

Vision is divided
-
Relationships are strained

Legacy is weakened
Marriage Perspective:
-
Finances are God’s, managed together
-
Unity requires prayer, grace, and conversation
Single Perspective:
-
Stewardship still matters
-
