Our 2026 Christmas Musical is… Carol of the Toys! 

It’s Christmastime in the Toy Room, but there’s one BIG problem, Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus are missing!

Join Race Car, Toy Soldier, Silver Belle, Santa, and the rest of the toys as they set out on a hilarious adventure to find them. Through fun songs, dancing, lots of laughs, and the Christmas story, the toys discover what Christmas is really all about—JESUS!

Auditions

Auditions are open to kids in Kindergarten–5th grade. There are roles for everyone, including large speaking roles, smaller character roles, and ensemble parts. No previous acting experience is needed!

During auditions, kids will:
• Introduce themselves and tell us their grade
• Share whether they prefer a large, medium, or small speaking role
• Read a short scene from the play
• Be given a little direction and read part of the scene again
• Have the option to sing a portion of their favorite song

Some roles require more memorization, acting, singing, or stage presence than others. Auditions simply help us find the role that best fits each child.

Most importantly—have fun! We aren’t looking for perfection. We want to see your personality, confidence, willingness to learn, and excitement to be part of Carol of the Toys!

Rehearsal Schedule

Speaking Roles: Rehearsals will be held every Sunday from 3:30–5:00 PM, beginning October 4th through December 6th. (Roles will be announced no later than Sunday, September 27th)

Choir: Kids participating in the choir will practice songs each Sunday during Kids Church, with additional rehearsals on October 25th, November 15th, and December 6th.

Dress Rehearsal: All cast and choir members will attend our mandatory dress rehearsal on Saturday, December 12th.

Performance Day: Sunday, December 13th!
